The Full Story

Chris Harris is a percussionist, composer, and educator from Fairfield, California. He currently lives in Bowling Green, Ohio where he attends Bowling Green State University as a candidate for the degree of Doctorate in Contemporary Music Performance (Percussion). As an artist his strengths lie in the electronic discipline with most of his musical projects interweaving acoustic and electronic properties. His compositions have been played by performers such as the Metaphor Duo, Virid Duo, and Kaitlin Miller. As a performer he has performed at the National Conference for Percussion Pedagogy, the МАССМ New Music Festival and worked to premiere a plethora of new works for percussion.
